Bakersfield, CA – The Kern County Cancer Foundation (KCCF) is proud to recognize and thank the Bakersfield Condors for their continued partnership and generosity during the annual Condors Fighting Cancer Night.
Through this year’s event, KCCF received a $3,000 contribution to help further its mission of providing financial assistance to local Kern County cancer patients. These funds will directly support individuals and families facing the financial strain that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis.
The evening was filled with energy and excitement as fans cheered the Condors through a thrilling overtime game. A highlight of the night included KCCF pediatric patients meeting Condors players after the game — a memorable experience for the children and their families. Players also auctioned off their specialty jerseys, generously donating the proceeds to benefit those specific pediatric patients.
“It was wonderful to see our community come together once again for such a meaningful cause,” said Alissa Turner, Special Events Manager of the Kern County Cancer Foundation. “The Condors continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of local cancer patients, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”
KCCF extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Condors organization, players, and fans for making this special night possible and for standing alongside local families facing cancer.
Thank you, Condors!
