Ridgecrest, CA — The Kern County Cancer Foundation (KCCF) spent the day in Ridgecrest at one of our supporters’ Stater Bros. parking lot, continuing its mission to reach and support cancer patients across the rural communities of Kern County. By bringing resources directly to these areas, KCCF ensures that individuals and families facing cancer know they are not alone and have access to vital assistance.
During the visit, KCCF Patient Navigator Montce Flores had the opportunity to connect with local cancer patients, including AIS cancer patient Vada Capron and her husband. The team was honored to speak with them and provide guidance and support to help Vada access the care and resources she needs.
KCCF remains committed to expanding its outreach efforts, particularly in underserved and rural areas, to bridge gaps in care and provide hope to those navigating a cancer diagnosis.
