The Kern County Cancer Foundation proudly joined the Color Fun 5K Run and Walk for Suicide Prevention Awareness Resource Fair in Taft, California on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

The event was a powerful day of community, support, and awareness for both cancer and suicide prevention, bringing together participants from all walks of life to raise awareness about these critical issues.

As an organization dedicated to supporting families facing cancer, the Kern County Cancer Foundation was honored to participate in this event, which not only promoted physical health through the 5K run and walk but also shone a light on the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.

Our team was grateful to connect with the community and provide valuable resources at the fair.

The Color Fun 5K Run and Walk was a vibrant and energetic way for attendees to engage in meaningful discussions about mental health, and we are proud to have been a part of such a significant cause.

Together, we can foster a healthier, more supportive community.
