Media Music Jam

Reporters, news anchors, meteorologists, talk show hosts, media experts, attorneys, former police chief, inspirational speaker, authors, and community personalities all come together for this year’s Media Music Jam, June 28, 7PM at Buck Owens’ Crystal Place.

You will recognize performers from press conferences, newsrooms, at crime scenes, television commercials, or in court rooms. They will all be on unfamiliar turf when on stage with back-up band, Thee Majestics, in front of another sold-out Crystal Palace audience to help raise money for Kern County patients on their cancer journey.

All Media Music Jam performers, including Thee Majestics band, donate their time and talents to the concert.

All Media Music Jam proceeds benefit qualified Kern County Cancer patients through the efforts of the Kern County Cancer Foundation (KCCF). KCCF coordinates with a network of Social Workers at local cancer care and treatment facilities and distributes Media Music Jam funds to Kern County patients regardless of where treatment is received.

Media Muisc Jam proceeds also provide financial assistance to KCCF’s Mobile Angel Unit which transports children and their families to cancer treatment centers to cities like Los Angeles, Madera and Stanford University.

Over the past ten years of the Media Music Jam being held at the Crystal Palace, $453,705 has been raised to help Kern County families on their cancer journey.
