The Kern County Cancer Foundation would like to extend a special thank you to Cheryl Avon for organizing her annual Party in Pink Zumbathon event held on October 19, 2024, at Rosamond Elementary School in Rosamond.
This year’s high-energy event raised over $4,280 to support local cancer patients and their families.
“Cheryl’s dedication to bringing the community together for a fun and impactful cause has made her Zumbathon an annual highlight,” said Alissa Turner, Fundraising and Special Events Manager at KCCF. “We also extend our gratitude to all participants who attended, contributed, and danced their way to making a difference. Your support plays a vital role in providing essential assistance to those facing the challenges of cancer treatment in Kern County.”
Thanks to events like the Party in Pink Zumbathon, the Kern County Cancer Foundation continues to provide critical resources, such as help with treatment expenses, transportation, and other essential services.
