Tradicional Dia de los Muertos at Historic Union Cemetery

Kern County Cancer Foundation took part in the Dia de los Muertos festivities at the Historic Union Cemetery at 730 Potomac Avenue on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

“We had such a fantastic time at the Dia de Los Muertos celebration! The Kern County Cancer Foundation loved connecting with families who had questions about financial assistance for cancer patients,” said Yesenia Moran, Patient Services Manager at KCCF.

The traditional Day of the Dead event also included music, art, folklore, dancers, altares & catrinas contests, food and so much more!

“It was so heartwarming to see the community come together to share delicious food, get resources from local agencies, and honor the memories of our loved ones who have passed. A big thank you to Union Cemetery for inviting us to this beautiful day of celebration and remembrance,” said Moran.
