Hermanos Unidos from Bakersfield rode in with their motorcycles donating large amounts of toys for Kern County Cancer Foundation’s Pediatric Christmas Party on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Hermanos Unidos has always supported Kern County Cancer Foundation, as last year they donated toys despite the rain.
Eddie Sanchez, a patient of the foundation has been an avid supporter to Kern County Cancer Foundation. Despite his current battle with cancer he and his fellow brothers as how he calls them have committed to donate toys this year and next year in gratitude of what the Kern County Cancer Foundation has helped him as a patient himself.
“The Children are not alone, we are here.”
“They don’t have to worry about their bills or stop coming because they don’t have the funds.”
Eddie Sanchez is advocate of giving back to the Kern County Cancer Foundation by his actions. The Pediatric Children Mobile Angel Unit will have their Christmas party and more gifts thanks to the community and partners like Hermanos Unidos on December 16, 2023.
