On March 16, 2024, the Kern County Cancer Foundation held its annual Teaming Up Against Cancer with a day full of fun activities with teams such as Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center, Memorial Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Accelerated Urgent Care, Kern Family Health Care, and CBCC at Stramler Park to raise funds for our Kern County local cancer patients.
From food, raffles, music, to our team challenges to our Survivor Recognition — the day was perfect this year. Among those games that were played during the team challenges were Giant Pong, Big Foot Relay, Hoppin’ World Cup, and Giant Connect 4.
Speaking of team challenges, Team Dignity Health Memorial Hospital and Accelerated Urgent Care won the Division Champs this year.
