The Kern County Cancer Foundation (KCCF) took its Mobile Financial Navigation Program Unit to the N.E.E.D.S. Center in Taft, CA for a community outreach event. Hosted by The N.E.E.D.S. Center, the event took place from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024.
The collaboration between KCCF and the N.E.E.D.S. Center aims to provide essential financial assistance and resources to cancer patients and the general public. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to receive free food boxes from the N.E.E.D.S. Center and access various support services offered by the Mobile Financial Navigation Unit.
“We extend a heartfelt thanks to Lucille Holt, the Executive Director at the N.E.E.D.S Center, for collaborating with us,” said a KCCF spokesperson. “Thanks to this partnership, the Kern County Cancer Foundation can now offer services through the new Mobile Financial Navigation Unit. Cancer patients and the general public can receive a free food box at the N.E.E.D.S Center and access financial assistance and other resources when they visit the mobile unit. We will visit Taft, CA, every month to provide information about our organization to anyone interested.”
KCCF is committed to making a positive impact in the community by providing vital resources and support to those in need. The monthly visits to Taft are part of KCCF’s ongoing efforts to extend their reach and ensure that valuable assistance is accessible to all.
