October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an important time to spread awareness, share information, and connect individuals and families with resources that may help them during their cancer journey. We enjoyed meeting everyone, having meaningful conversations, and handing out pink gifts to help spread awareness and show our support.
“It was wonderful speaking with everyone and sharing information about the resources available to our community. October is such an important time to reach people who may need our help and remind them that they are not alone,” said Montce Flores, Patient Navigator for the Kern County Cancer Foundation.
Together, we can raise awareness, connect our community with support, and make a difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
